On March 27, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and the North Attleboro and Central Falls Police Departments, arrested Lawrence Beauvais, age 66, of 55 Gloria Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Central Falls Police Department for the following: 1) First-Degree Murder; and 2) First-Degree Robbery. Mr. Beauvais was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Massachusetts State Police on scene.
On March 27, 2026, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Michael Gallo, age 33, of 33 Canonchet Trail, Cranston, Rhode Island for the following: 1] Third-Degree Sexual Assault (7 counts); 2] Production of Child Pornography (2 counts); 3] Transfer of Child Pornography; 4] Indecent Solicitation of a Child; and 5] Electronically Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors Prohibited. Mr. Gallo was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, where bail was set at $120,000 with surety and special condition of no contact with the victim. Mr. Gallo was unable to post bail and was transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On March 30, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Arden E. Casiano, age 48, of 250 Morris Avenue Apartment 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for Sexual Offender Registration Required. Mr. Casiano was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department.
On March 31, 2026, members of the Auto Theft Task Force, the ACI Investigations Unit and the Intelligence Unit arrested Jose Jimenez Regalado, age 24, of 75 Wendell Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle; 2) Possession of a Vehicle With Altered VIN; 3) Forgery; and 4) False Statement to Obtain a Registration. Mr. Regalado was transported to Headquarters, where he was processed. He was later turned over to officials at Third Division District Court for arraignment.
On March 31, 2026, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Jacob I. Duarte, age 24, of 4 Glen Avenue, Apartment 2, Methuen, Massachusetts, for the following: 1) One (1) count of Bank Fraud; 2) Four (4) counts of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses U/$1500 (Misdemeanor); 3) One (1) count of Passing Counterfeit Certificates, Bill or Notes; 4) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud; 6) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses; and 6) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Passing Counterfeit Certificates, Bill or Notes. Mr. Jacob Duarte was apprehended by the Massachusetts State Police on March 15, 2026, and extradited to Rhode Island, where he was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Third District Court for arraignment. Mr. Jacob Duarte made an appearance in front of the Honorable Judge O'Neill and was released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail.
On March 31, 2026, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Joshua I. Duarte, age 28, of 4 Glen Avenue, Methuen, Massachusetts, for the following: 1) One (1) count of Bank Fraud; 2) Three (3) counts of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses O/$1500 (felony); 3) Five (5) counts of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses U/$1500 (Misdemeanor); 4) One (1) count of Passing Counterfeit Certificates, Bill or Notes; 5) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud; 6) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses; 7) One (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Passing Counterfeit Certificates, Bill or Notes; and 8) Possession Schedule I-V (Cocaine), 10 grams or less. Mr. Joshua Duarte was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment. During processing, Mr. Joshua Duarte was found to be in possession of Cocaine and was subsequently charged accordingly. Mr. Joshua Duarte made an appearance in front of the Honorable Judge O'Neill and was released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail.
On March 31, 2026, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Raghib Anderson, age 36, of 1621 West 77th Street, Apartment 1, Chicago, Illinois, for the following: 1) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses over $10,000; 2) Laundering of Monetary Instruments; and 3) Access to a Computer for Fraudulent Purposes. Mr. Anderson was transported by Rhode Island Sheriffs to State Police Headquarters for processing. Mr. Anderson was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions pending a morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
On April 1, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jermont Murray, age 43, of 22 Armington Avenue, Apartment 3, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1) Kidnapping; 2) Felony Assault with a Dangerous Weapon; and 3) Simple Assault. Mr. Murray was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Police Department.
On April 1, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Creichaun W. Garrett, age 29, of 53 Fuller Avenue Apartment 1, Central Falls, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Kent County District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Felony Domestic originating from the State Police; and 2) Kent County District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Felony Domestic originating from the North Providence Police Department. Mr. Garrett was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Pawtucket Police Department.
On April 1, 2026, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Christine Damiani, age 40, of 887 Willett Avenue, East Providence, Rhode Island, for Obtaining Property by False Pretenses over $10,000. Ms. Damiani was processed and transported to Sixth Division District Court, where she was arraigned and held as a Providence Superior Court bail violator.
