At 12:11 PM, Troopers arrested Miguel Rodriguez, age 35, of 41 Tuxedo Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Providence County Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Pay Child Support. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Doyle Avenue in the City of Providence. Rodriguez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and transported to Sixth Division District Court.
At 1:55 PM, Troopers arrested Jade Gomes, age 29, of 21 Warren Street, Apartment #2, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving After Denial/Revocation/Suspension Certain Violations- 2nd Offense and 2.) Driving With a Suspended License- 4th + Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Providence. Gomes was transported to Headquarters, where she was processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center. Gomes was held overnight as a probation violator pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
At 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Andre Bell, age 48, of 34 West Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Simple Assault/Battery, 2.) Disorderly Conduct, 3.) Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of a disturbance inside 6th Division District Court, and subsequent investigation. Bell was processed, and later arraigned where he was presented as a Superior Court Probation Violator.
At 8:49 PM, Troopers arrested Casey Sturmer, age 26, of 56 Crown Street, Westfield, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle collision on Route 10 in the City of Providence. Sturmer was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
