At 12:27 AM, Troopers arrested John Flaxington, age 65, of 26 Barton Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving with a Suspended License – Special Circumstances (First Offense) 2.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty, originating out of the East Greenwich Police Department; and 3.) Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, originating out of the South Kingstown Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Scituate Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending arraignment in Third Division District Court where he is to be presented as a bail violator.
