On Tuesday May 12, 2026, at 1:58 AM, Troopers arrested Wackneer Aguilar Gil age 32, of 536 Branch Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of the State Police Commercial Enforcement Unit for 1.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty and 2.) Giving False Documentation to Public Official. This arrest was the result of an investigation by Commercial Enforcement Unit Troopers and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the Town of West Greenwich. Aguilar Gil was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Fourth Division District Court arraignment date.
