On June 2, 2026, members of the HIDTA Task Force, assisted by members of the Intelligence Unit, ACI Investigations, and the Cranston Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Roberto Cruz, age 54, of 152 North Main Street, Scituate for 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine, 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; and 3) Controlled Substance Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of search warrants executed at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Cruz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
On June 2, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Paris P. DaSilva, age 29, last known address of 9 Franklin Street - Apartment 9, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for Reckless Driving/Eluding and Obstruction and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for Reckless Driving/Eluding. Mr. DaSilva was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cranston Police Department.
