At 1:10 PM, Troopers arrested John Messier, age 55, of 56 Crawford Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving with an Expired License originating out of the Lincoln Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street in the City of Woonsocket. Messier was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
At 1:10 PM, Troopers arrested Robyn Yargeau, age 44, of 1 Pond Street, Apartment 2R, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1) Possession of a Schedule I - V Controlled Substance - 10 Grams or Less (Fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street in the City of Woonsocket. Yargeau was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
At 1:19 AM, Troopers arrested Edgard Argueta Samoya, age 43, of 92 Aurora Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – Second Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street in the City of Providence. Samoya was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
