At 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Belgica Acevedo, age 45, of 155 Sunbury Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation Over $10,000 and 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes. The arrest was the result of barracks investigation and the subject turning herself into the Hope Valley Barracks. Acevedo was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third District Court date.
