On July 16, 2026, at 8:00 AM, the State Police Special Victims Unit with the assistance of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and Major Crimes Unit arrested Olusegun Richardson, age 40, of 148 Bernon Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for three (3) counts of Third-Degree Sexual Assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Richardson being taken into custody by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section. Mr. Richardson was processed at the Massachusetts State Police Milbury Barracks and later transported to Milford District Court.
On July 16, 2026, at 9:45 AM, the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and Providence Police (Intel Unit and Uniform Bureau) arrested Joseph LaRoche age 20 for Murder(Recent Stabbing) out of the City of Providence. The Arrest is the result of an investigation by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. LaRoche was taken into custody without incident and handed directly over to both the Providence Police Intel and Patrol Bureau personnel for his arraignment and processing.
