On Friday, July 31, 2026, at approximately 7:30 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Anildo Monteiro, age 57, of 201 Sackett Street, Floor 3, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Pawtucket Police Department for First Degree Child Molestation. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Monteiro was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department.
On July 31, 2026, at approximately 11:30 PM, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Chung Wong, age 54, of 47 Ocean Street, Quincy, Massachusetts for one (1) count of Casino Gaming Cheating - Wager based upon knowledge not known to all players. Arrest was the result of a Gaming Enforcement Unit investigation of a table games cheating incident on Texas Hold 'Em that occurred on July 16, 2026 at the Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort and securing an arrest warrant. Mr. Wong was processed Lincoln Woods Barracks and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail after an appearance in front of a Bail Commissioner.
