On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM, Troopers arrested Krista Mikos, age 37, of 51 Wendell Street, Coventry, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle and 2.) Forgery and Counterfeiting Plates. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation conducted by members of the Lincoln Woods Barracks and the subject turning herself in to State Police – Headquarters. The subject was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:19 PM, Troopers arrested Whitney Joseph, age 30, of 74 Clym Street, Providence, Rhode Island for a Third District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Mount Pleasant Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed and later released on surety bail with a future court date.
