At 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested Katherine Garcia, age 36, of 125 Galileo Avenue, Providence Rhode Island for 1.) Conspiracy, 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses > $10,000, 3.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Card, 4.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance, 5.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps, 6.) Services Obtained by Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning herself into State Police – Headquarters. Garcia was processed and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Valentina Garcia Delacruz, age 58, of 295 Oxford Street, Providence Rhode Island for 1.) Conspiracy, 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses > $10,000, 3.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Card, 4.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance, 5.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps, 6.) Services Obtained by Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning herself into State Police – Headquarters. Delacruz was processed and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
At 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jaime Garcia, age 31, of 19 Chester Street Apt. 1F, Woonsocket, RI for 1) Violation of a No Contact Order- 1st Offense (2 Counts). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Clinton Street in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was transported to State Police - Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later turned over to the ACI- Men's Intake Center pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.
At 6:45 PM, Troopers arrested Westeenah Emile, age 22, of 8 Ashby Street, Johnston, RI for 1) Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Route 295 in the Town of Johnston and Troopers subsequently locating the party on Hartford Avenue in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police - Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released with a future Third District Court date.
At 5:55 AM, Troopers arrested Brandon Martone, age 33, of 248 Rosemont Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Domestic Violence – Simple Assault and/or Battery – First Offense and 2.) Domestic Violence – Violation of a No Contact Order – First Offense (2 Counts). The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject being located at his residence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment at Third District Court where he will be presented as a bail violator.
