Wickford Barracks

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 8:00 AM, Troopers arrested Jenika Peters age 41, of 140 Charlie's Way, Unit 2, Johnston, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses greater than $10,000 and 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purpose. The arrest was the result of an investigation and the subject being located at her residence, in the Town of Johnston. Peters was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and issued a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:48 AM, Troopers arrested Marcus Monroe age 41, of 530 N Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence – Simple Assault And/or Battery – 3rd + Offense and 2.) Domestic Violence – Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a domestic disturbance at 4 Farewell Street, in the City of Newport. The subject was transported to the Newport Police Department for processing and subsequently transported to Second Division District Court for arraignment.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:48 AM, Troopers arrested Christina Lyons age 46, of 4 Farewell Street, Newport, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence – Simple Assault And/or Battery – 1st Offense and 2.) Domestic Violence – Disorderly Conduct – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a domestic disturbance at 4 Farewell Street, in the City of Newport. The subject was transported to the Newport Police Department for processing and subsequently transported to Second Division District Court for arraignment.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:00 PM, Troopers arrested Aleigha Maletesta age 26, of 99 Shenandoah Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Greenwich Avenue, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
