On Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM, Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Luis Cruz Gomez, age 32, of 11 Thornton Street Apt. 1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates and 2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Breaking and Entering, Domestic Simple Assault/ Battery and Failure to Relinquish Telephone, originating out of the Central Falls Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick. Mr. Cruz Gomez was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to the Central Falls Police Department.
