On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at approximately 7:30 AM, members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, with the assistance of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Andrew Martineau, age 36, of 12 Walnut Street, Apartment 6, Taunton, Massachusetts for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Cranston Police Department for 1.) Domestic Simple Assault - Third Offense, 2.) Domestic Strangulation, 3.) Domestic Vandalism - Third Offense, 4.) Domestic Disorderly, and 5.) Domestic Failure to Relinquish Telephone. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Martineau was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Massachusetts State Police pending his presentation as a Fugitive From Justice from the State of Rhode Island.

On September 30, 2026, at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Mario Ordonez Lopes, age 26, of 120 John Street, Apartment #22, Lincoln, Rhode Island for Possession of Child Pornography. Mr. Ordonez Lopes was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and transported to Sixth Division District Court. Mr. Ordonez Lopes was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Stephen M. Isherwood, where bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance, with the special conditions of limited internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Jerrell Bell, age 20, with last known address of 90 Girard Avenue, Apartment #57, Newport, Rhode Island for Domestic Violence- Criminal Violation of No Contact Order- 2nd Offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institution Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Bell was arraigned at Third District Court and remanded into the custody of the Sheriff's Department.

At 9:00 AM, members of the Auto Theft Task Force arrested Gabriel Montanez, age 38, last known address of 3188 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1) Receiving Stolen Goods Over $1,500; and 2) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on a charge of Breaking & Entering originating out of Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of an investigation by members of the Auto Theft Task Force. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then turned over to Sixth Division District Court and granted $2,000 surety bail by Judge Isherwood then presented as a Superior Court probation violator.
