At 5:30 PM, Troopers arrested Marcis Gautier, age 42, of 49 Bristol Avenue, Riverside, Rhode Island for 1.) False Statement to Obtain Replacement Public Assistance Check - Over $500, 2.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance - Over $500, 3.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps - Over $500, 4.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official and 5.) False Representations as to Continuing Truth of Financial Statements. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning himself in. Mr. Gautier was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.
At 11:28 PM, Troopers arrested Kristina M. Ferrucci, age 41, of 16 Allendale Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Scituate Barracks where she was processed, arraigned, and released to the custody of responsible adult with a future re-arraignment date in Sixth Division District Court.
