On Thursday, October 29th, 2026, at 1:12 PM, troopers arrested Joseph Colon Santos, age 27, of 226 River Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Vandalism originating out of the East Greenwich Police Department. The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Division of Motor Vehicles in the city of Cranston and taking the subject into custody. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Third District Court.
On Friday, October 30th, 2026, at 1:02 AM, troopers arrested Nelson Torres, age 33, of 279 Smith Street, Apartment 1, Cranston, Rhode Island, for a Providence County Family Court Bench Warrant – Reciprocal Body Attachment. The arrest was the result of a disabled motor vehicle on Route 6 West in the town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
