On Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 2:15 PM, Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Jonah Cutting, age 26, of 415 Hog House Hill Road, Exeter Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Without Consent of Owner or Lessee. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the Charlestown Police Department locating the suspect vehicle on Carolina Back Road where Troopers took custody of Cutting. Cutting was transported to State Police Southern Barracks Public Safety Complex, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later turned over to the ACI—Men's Intake Center where he will be held as a bail violator pending morning arraignment at Fourth Division District Court.
On Friday, October 30, 2026 at 6:30 AM, Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Timothy Fairbanks, age 36, of 30 Mary Beth Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving After Denial, Revocation, or Suspension for Certain Violations. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Ten Rod Road in the Town of Exeter. Fairbanks was transported to State Police Southern Barracks Public Safety Complex for processing and later transported to Fourth Division District Court where he will be presented as a bail violator.
