At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Luis Moreno, age 57, of 193 Clarence Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Interference with Gas, Electric, or Water Meters. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject subsequently turning himself in. Mr. Moreno was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
At 9:01 PM, Troopers arrested Cecilia Dietzler, age 73, of 49 Taylor Street, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle collision on Route 295 in the Town of Johnston. Dietzler was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for minor injuries and misdemeanor released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.
