Last Day to Register for Marketing and Cash Flow Workshops

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (May 19, 2008) – There is just one more day to register for two hands-on seminars that will help business owners manage cash flow and market their business when times are tight.

"Marketing Your Business in a Sluggish Economy" is scheduled for Tues., May 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bob Martinelli and Bob Salvas will show business people how to create an automated "keep in touch" strategy that will generate clients and referrals. The workshop is free.

On Wed., May 21, Jeffrey S. Deckman will lead the “Fluid Cash Flow Management” workshop. The system helps entrepreneurs work through cash flow shortages and maintain vendor relationships. The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The cost is $15 and attendees must bring a laptop in order to take part.

Sponsored by Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis and the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC), the workshops will be held at 315 Iron Horse Way (555 Valley St.), Suite 101, Providence. Call 278-9174 to register.

The seminars are being offer through “We Mean Business,” which is a joint venture between the Secretary of State’s First Stop Business Information Center and Every Company Counts, an initiative of RIEDC. We Mean Business connects business owners with local, state and federal agencies and non-profit organizations that impact business.
