Defending the Caveman is a hilarious play about the ways men and women relate to each other. Without taking sides, this insightful comedy discusses the ongoing battle for understanding between the sexes. Through its hysterical observations into contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zones, Defending the Caveman mines the common themes in relationships that go straight through the funny bone.
They give him Grammys as a folk artist, but you cant really categorize a genius as big as John Prines. Like Kurt Vonneguts early novels, Prines songs are notable for both their bite and their warmth -- the gentle surface of ballads such as All the Best often hide a dark heart, while angrier numbers like Angel from Montgomery always seem to forgive the targets of their indignation. Dont miss your chance to see this true American songwriting legend.
